Dear Local 33 friends and fellow stagehands,

I am retired Local 33 member, Steven C. Schreiner. I am a poet and have been writing under the pen name, C. Steven Blue, since the 1970s. This is an announcement for my brand new book on recovery,
S.O.S. ~ Songs Of Sobriety ~ A Personal Journey Of Recovery.

My wife Paulette and I (for those of you who don’t remember, Paulette was the red-haired boom operator at ABC, on General Hospital, for many years), retired to Eugene, Oregon 7 years ago. Since moving there, I have been pursuing the writing and publishing of my poetry full time.

My brand new book, Songs Of Sobriety, has just been released. It took me over twenty years to write and chronicles the first ten years of the recovery process, in verse. My hope is that it will provide inspiration and an additional lifeline to those in recovery of any kind, and those who have friends or family members in the process.

I am coming to Los Angeles in January to promote it. I will be doing a reading and book signing while I am there (which will include all of my books). I would like to invite all of you, including family and friends, to attend the reading, which will be at:
