A Note from the Business Agent Television 4/12/18

Good Day Brothers and Sisters,
It has been brought to my attention from management at CBS Studios ( Television City) that they are in the process of cleaning up their files and removing information on employees who have not worked there in over a years time. I would suggest upon taking a call at CBS to be ready to fill out new paperwork. Bring your drivers license, a passport/social security card. This goes on with our theaters and will not be a new procedure to follow for those who do bounce around a lot with filling out paperwork. For those of you either "on staff, pseudo staff, or regular call back" with CBS please check with the scheduling and payroll depts on your current status.
Letter from CBS -
" Our system is purged regularly when a person does not work in a 12 month period. So Local 33 employees should always be prepared to fill out paperwork if they have been purged from our system. They will need a VALID drivers license and another form of ID, Social Security Card or a Passport will be accepted alone. Photocopies of any form of ID are not accepted. If they work one day without filing employee paperwork they will be paid, and have 3 days to comply, if they don't comply within 3 days they will not be able to work at any CBS entities and will be issued a no work letter to the local."
Please, everyone, comply without making an issue. We are here to work with our employers and this is not asking for anything out of the ordinary. I know this was a practice 7 years ago at NBC Studios in Burbank and still a practice at most of our theaters. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your attention to this matter.
