    Teamsters Local 179 and the Contractor's Association of Will and Grundy Counties reached a tentative agreement on Thursday, July 24th.  The proposed changes to the Will & Grundy Counties Area Construction Agreement must be incorporated into the contract and approved by both parties as well as the Joint Council 25 Director of Construction prior to a ratification vote.

    All, The SLPOA has created a Memorial Fund to assist in sending Officers to the National Police Week Memorial in Washington, D.C.  In an effort to fund this, a committee was formed and has elected to host a golf tournament to raise funds.  An article was recently published in the Gendarme detailing the committees plans.
