The Real Issue on Election Day
    10/31/14 - Teamsters local 570
Oct. 31, 2014 | OPINION | …What this election is really about is one question: Do we want a government that sits on its hands in times of great challenges, or one that rolls up its sleeves and tackles the problems head on? I believe the answer is clear. We need a government that will find a cure for Ebola and work to improve public health for everyone who calls this nation home.

We shared our PowerPoint presentation and discussed an array of safety concerns that we both share. We agreed to work together in our mutual commitment to providing a safe work area and product, and to step up communications on safety related issues. Additionally, Safety & Standards Director David Brooks will be reaching out to both carriers to arrange meetings in the near future to further our work on the concept of joint safety working groups designed to identify and correct safety issues for our members. You should expect to hear more regarding the Safety Initiative as we move forward.
