September 30, 2014 -- This month started off with the Southwest Airlines (SWA) Facility Maintenance Technician (FMT) negotiations in Dallas, Texas. During the following FMT session later in the month, the Company presented our Committee with a bundled proposal that addressed multiple articles; our Committee is crafting a comprehensive response to their proposal. Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) negotiations also continued this month and the negotiation updates (video and written) for all sessions have been posted to the AMFA National Website.

Let’s start with some basic concepts. The Office of Child Care licenses child care in Oregon. They can come in and put conditions on those licenses. Most often these conditions include things like “fireplace shall not be used during hours on child care license.”  These conditions limit what the child care provider can do DURING child care hours.  Makes sense, right.

Supporter, Let's admit it -- sometimes, voting seems pointless. At least, that's what wealthy CEOs want us to think. They're counting on us to skip the elections this November. They know that if voters like us stay home, working-class champions won't get elected this year.
